This Privacy Policy describes how Riptec Limited ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information in connection with your use of our application, M.
Why does Riptec need my Personal Information?
We only gather information that will allow us to provide you with the best service possible through M, or that we are required to do so by law or regulations. This information may also be used to send you relevant offers, but we will always give you the ability to opt out of these at any time.
Below are the types of things we use your personal information for:
- To verify you as a user and to detect and prevent fraud.
- Onboarding you to the M application and understanding which of our services youâre using.

Access to sensitive user data is strictly limited to authorized Riptec Limited personnel and automated systems that require access to perform their functions and provide the services you have requested. We employ the principle of least privilege, ensuring that any access to data is on a strict need-to-know basis.
Data Handling
We do not use your data for advertising purposes. Data is processed in-memory when possible and is only stored when necessary for the M application's core functionality, such as caching for performance. Our data handling procedures are designed to comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Use of Information from Google APIs
M's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
When you connect your Google Account to M, our application accesses your data to provide specific features, such as:
- Reading calendar events to display your agenda and find available time slots.
- Creating and editing calendar events to schedule meetings and tasks on your behalf.
- Reading your emails and drafts to perform AI-powered triage and generate replies.
- Composing and sending emails when you approve a draft or create a new message.
- Modifying email labels to archive messages and keep your inbox organized.
- Reading and editing contacts for our web-based Contacts Manager.
- Reading user-selected photos to attach them to journal entries in our web app.
This data is used solely by Riptec Limited to provide and improve these user-facing features within the M application. We do not transfer this data to others unless it is necessary to comply with applicable law, for a merger or acquisition, or as part of a security investigation.
